Although Jordan Brand typically celebrates the legacy of Michael Jordan and his illustrious NBA career through Air Jordan releases, this latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Mid will be paying homage to Nike Basketball.
Dubbed “Nike Hoops,” this pair makes use of tumbled and flat white leather predominately seen on the upper that’s offset by mismatched green and purple Swoosh branding on the sides and on the outsole. Instead of the traditional Jumpman branding, the shoe’s standout feature is the new “Nike Hoops” tongue tag that pays homage to Nike Basketball’s inception in 1972.
